For storytellers
Once a year, the small town of Bunol, west of Valencia, turns into a sea of red as thousands of people throw tomatoes at each other. It lasts about an hour and is strictly organised, with tickets and rules. Wear old clothes and goggles. It's messy, crazy fun, and one of Spain's most famous festivals.
