The few things this site stores in your browser, and which ones need your consent.

Always needed
- Session cookie. Keeps you signed in and protects forms. It lasts for your session or a short time after.
- Security token cookie (XSRF). Stops other sites from submitting forms on your behalf.
- Your cookie choice. Remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics so we do not ask again on every page.
These are strictly necessary for the site to work, so they do not need consent.
Stored on your device (local storage)
- Trip planner. Your current plan, so it is still there when you return.
- Visited map. The countries you have ticked.
Neither is sent to our server unless you save a trip to your account. Clear this site’s data in your browser to remove them.
Only with your consent
If Google Analytics or another analytics or advertising tool is switched on for the site, it sets its own cookies after you accept in the banner. Until you accept, those scripts do not load. Change your mind at any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer, or by clearing your cookies.
