Why Lake Skadar National Park matters
Skadar is a slow, green landscape of reeds, water lilies and mountains reflected in still water. Take a boat from the village of Virpazar to see pelicans, herons and small island fortresses. It is a lovely contrast with the coast, and local wine and fish are good here.
