Why Puijo Tower matters
Puijo Tower stands on a forested hill above the city and is the best place to see how Kuopio sits in a landscape of lakes. A lift takes you up, and a revolving restaurant and viewing deck look over water and woodland stretching far into the distance. In winter the hill is also a ski-jumping and cross-country skiing venue.
