Why Trolltunga matters
Trolltunga, the Troll's Tongue, is a thin slab of rock jutting out above Lake Ringedalsvatnet. It takes a full day to hike there and back, with a long, steep climb and mountain weather. The view is spectacular, and photos on the edge are famous. Go only in the summer season and prepare properly.
