Why Hagar Qim Temples matters

Hagar Qim is made of huge blocks of limestone, some of which are very large. It sits on a cliff above the sea, and a protective canopy covers the site. A short path leads to the nearby temple of Mnajdra. They are among the oldest stone buildings in the world.
