Why Heineken Experience matters

The Heineken Experience is set in the original brewery building and takes you through the brewing process, the history of the brand and its advertising. There are interactive stations, a stable with horses and tastings at the end. It is lively and tourist-focused rather than a craft-beer deep dive, but it is fun and well run.

Talking points

  • The building is the former brewery.
  • Tastings are included at the end.
  • It is a short walk from the Rijksmuseum.
