Why Cathedral of Santa Maria, Palma matters

La Seu rises straight from the harbour wall, golden against the Mediterranean. Inside, one of the largest rose windows of any Gothic cathedral fills the interior with colour. Antoni Gaudi worked on the interior in the early twentieth century, and the artist Miquel Barcelo added a ceramic mural in the chapel. It's a must in Palma.
