Why Paphos Archaeological Park matters

This site is a collection of Roman villas whose floors are covered in detailed mosaics showing myths and dramatic scenes. You walk on raised paths around them, close enough to see the tiny stones. A small theatre and a ruined fortress also stand within the park. The whole of Paphos is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
