Why Scandola Nature Reserve matters
Scandola is a wild coastal reserve with volcanic cliffs and sea caves. Boats set off from Porto or Calvi and cruise below the cliffs, where ospreys nest. Landing is not allowed. Book a boat trip from Porto or Calvi in the morning when the sea is calmer and light is best.
