Why Ksamil matters
Ksamil is Albania's answer to the tropics, with bright blue water, small rocky islands you can swim to and white pebble beaches. It is busy in July and August, with sun loungers lined up on the sand, but in May and September it is a lovely place to swim. Bring water shoes for the rocks.
