Why Hospital de Sant Pau matters

Sant Pau is a hospital that looks like a palace, designed by Lluis Domenech i Montaner. The pavilions are covered in tiles and decorated with sculpture and mosaics, linked by gardens and underground tunnels. The idea was that beauty helps people heal. It stopped working as a hospital, and today it is open to visitors.
