KaDeWe has been Berlin's grand department store for over a century, and you do not need to shop to enjoy it. Head up to the top floor for a food hall that displays oysters, cheeses, chocolates and sausages like jewellery. There is a champagne bar and a rooftop restaurant, so it also makes a good place to rest your feet.
